I didn't really do much formal drawing this last year--what I have done, though, is some poster-design for my university's drama department. It made sense--I act in most of the shows, the previous poster designs had been crap or nonexistant, I stepped up.
This was the best one I did: advertising The Earthrock of Argos, the winter department show. It was an adaptation of the Oresteia, which is sort of a sequel to the Trojan war, in which Agamemnon returns home and gets pwned by his wife with an axe. I played Clytemnestra, said wife ^_^ .
Man, I've just been hella-busy with school--that same semester I did Earthrock I did like, 3 other plays...I was in rehearsal straight up from January to May. *whew*
But yeah, I got a special place in the cold little cockles of my heart for Clytemnestra...actually, I think she was quite vindicated, and had a lot more motivation for her actions than a lot of villains (say, Lady Macbeth and the like), what with Agamemnon killing her husband and stealing her away when they were younger, and then killing her favorite daughter for stupid reasons and sailing away like a douche...not to mention having to be sisters with Helen of Troy. Yeesh.
Let's not forget that he brings his Trojan trophy Cassandra home as well and expects his wife to be nice to her. Honestly. Men.
I been busy but pretty good, on the whole. If you gots an LJ, let me know so I can add you as a friend, since it's much easier for me to keep track of people that way than anything else.

Well, I had one, but I think it's defunct, now. Username was maghrabi, you can probably still see it, but I can't update it, I don't think. What was your username?
Mine's luna_lena, but my LJ's pretty much Friends-only, so I've added you to the list. I see what you mean by "defunct," though... your last entry's dated 2005!

The actual play is The Oresteia. The version we did (Earthrock of Argos) was written by my drama professor--you wouldn't be able to find it exactly. But if you'd like to see our interpretation... ^_^

Haha, Clytemnestra... what a perfectly ~EVIL~ role for you. I really think she enjoyed doing everything she did.

.... And... for some reason I can easily see you with an axe. And that scares me and delights me at the same time.
